About
I am Software Engineer in Test at Google. I graduated from UT Dallas with a BS in Computer Science, and have since embraced my role and advocate testing and test driven development. Especially vocal against automation and end to end testing (without first focussing on unit testing) and preaches unit testing and dependency injection. Contributor to many open source tools as well, like Testability Explorer and Js Test Driver.
I also am a huge foodie, so look forward to posts about local bay area restaurants every now and then. And I am an avid writer, so I might end up posting some of my short stories in here, just to mix things in. Find me occasionally on the Google Testing Blog, as well as other sites. And I look forward to reading your opinions and comments.

Hi Shyam,
Stopped by your blog. As usual I’m really impressed. Great work on the blog!

Hi Shyam,
I am an application developer from Bangalore, and I am currently working on migrating my EJB code from v2.1 to v3.0. In the process, I am also trying to change the JUnits associated with the code. However, I am unable to mock and use a field injected parameter into my stateless EJB (which is another EJB reference inserted into my stateless EJB through the use of @EJB annotation. I am using EasyMock and PowerMock libraries to mock objects. Can you please let me know if there is ANY possible way to get the field-injected parameter value? (other than writing explicit setters and getters to pull out the reference)
Any help in this regard would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Nagendra U M

Great site! was wondering how much knowledge of GWT UI Architecture you possess. I might have a way for you to make some more money…
